The Sony Handycam CCD-F201 is a 8mm video cassette camera from the late 1980s. Read below to see the technical notes

Initial notes;
batteries take a charge and camera turns on with batteries.
Viewfinder has a lot of static. Only shows white, blue, and black lines with no discernible image.
Body itself is in good condition. No chips, dents, or visible damage.
Missing diopter. Needs a replacement.
Cassette both ejects and recognizes that a new cassette has been inserted.
Next steps:
replace the capacitors on the board to fix the viewfinder.
Clean any old hardware.
